Overview and Call for Proposals


The Black Student Network invites proposals for sessions that will present work with youth or adults, effective teaching ideas, empirical and theoretical research, and/or an analysis of various topics in education and human development surrounding the theme of this year's conference: "Reclaiming our Research: Repositioning and Refocusing in Today's Sociopolitical Climate".

Paper presentations

Oral presentations of research papers, aided by PowerPoint, which may involve one or more presenters.

Poster presentations

Participant's work will be presented on a visual display and participant will engage attendees about their work and answer questions.

Multi-modal presentations

Presenters may propose work that examines and addresses the theme of the conference through mediums such as music, video, art, or spoken word. Learn more about the guidelines here
